Vitiligo Photos (and Lupus) Michael Jackson (2)

Vitiligo Skin
Michael Jackson has nearly always been dressed where he is completely covered since [around] the Thriller era. You may or may not notice in the rare occasion that Jackson has his wrists visible (most likely due to a button cuff of his shirt has been slightly opened). Now, if you missed the information regarding Jackson’s vitiligo, be sure to read about it here (thanks to Steady Laughing for the information!).
Candid shots from a behind the scenes photo of the music video ‘They Don’t Care About Us’. Unfortunately, I can’t find any of these without the stupid tag on them (no offense, mjsfc.com)

Another example in candid photos [could either be from 1995 or '96] where spontaneous repigment appears, here on his wrist.
Lupus

Poor Michael, suffering from that awful disease. It’s so sad that no one believes him about it *coughs loudly* My Cousin *coughs* when it’s so plainly obvious he has it.
Love ya, Mike!
Remember, don’t let no one get ya down

No to i ja sie przylacze!
Niech zyje Krol!
Translation: I adore Michael and I hope that all the foul people that made up shit about him will be raped by mad goats. :]
And MJJ is so huge that even his masks were a fashion statement. Black, white, red, or rainbow — Michael is beautiful! And I think that Michael would like to be a rainbow color anyway because it’s super fun. Long live the King!
Michael has been through so much why does so much bad stuff always have to happen to the kindist of people? i love him always MJs my love.
I DON´T SPEAK ENGLISH BUT……………. I LOVE MICHAEL JACKSON ITS GREAT IT !!!!!!!!!!!!! I LOVE HIM IS BEAUTIFULL !!!!!!!!!!
It looks like HE HAS BOTH lupus & vitiligo on his face–I also noticed many “liver spots” on both forearms-No wonder he is always wrapped up! I wouldn’t want to chance getting sunburned, either!! I guess Everyone has their Cross to Bear…Poor Thing.
i knew for a long time that mj has not been bleaching in order for his skin to be the colour that it is now. cus if he had, then he really would have something against his own people. because some people are so ignorant they are quick to say this and say that about someone or something who they know nothing about. michael jackson has been through a lot from his young days until now mostly with the media. im not one to judge people because i dont want to be judged myself, so when i dont know something about someone unless they have told me i dont see why i should go around scandalizing the persons name and reputation because one day the worst could happen to me when i least expect it. only God knows all that he needs to know about all of us so i dont see why we should have the lifestyle of another upon our heads? we really must be bored and have no life at all. love you michael joseph jackson always and forever, God (or allah since you’re a muslim now) bless you dearly!!!
CHURRRCH!!!
so sorry about ur condition michael, i really am but everything is done for a reason an mayb 1 day u’ll find the reason if u look down deeply an sincerely within urself so as to attain that answer

He will be missed….
:’( i hav cried so much R.I.P Your the best
R.I.P MJ
Michael had vitiligo as well as lupus I think that he grew tired of applying make up and had the depigmentation. If i had vitiligo and had the money to get depigmented i would do so too. I think that the media was partly to blame for the emotional pain that Michael endured. Few entertainers have amasses the wealth and fame that Michael had and the fact that he was a black man… The media was and is still cruel to him. I hope that they will leave him alone eventually and allow him to rest in peace
i love so much michael jackson.please come back.
Very many people in this world are very ignorant. I believe their ignorance has caused MJ his life, their criticisms et al. He had virtiligo and they took it against him, instead of them to sympathize with him, they accused him of all sorts of crimes he never committed. Now he is dead and they all are crying, when some years back they were jeering at him. Such a wicked world we are living in.
There are many who are still jeering, and none of them have the facts straight. Yes, we are living in a wicked world. Michael urged one audience to take each others hands and tell them they cared. He said ‘No, do it. Time is running out. We have to start NOW!’
He has said a few times that he ‘didn’t have much longer’. I honestly think that he had a strong sixth sense. He knew exactly what people were feeling and thinking.
I hope he felt some of the love we still had for him, and not just all the hate that some spew out like lava.
Some things about Michael was really sad, I wish him a safe passage to the great beyond. His last days where really dreary though Michael aided it all. This is a lesson for the world, Hold and cherish it while you got it, cos when its gone, its forever. R.I.P Michael, we will never forget you cos you rocked our world.
everybody have their time stated..as they say,
n after all this, its better he went for peace coz people don’t care about him rather ridiculed him all his life..so its good you’ve gone to a far better world..
cheers to your freedom from the sufferings!
am sorry, didnt wanted the earlier comment to be negative..let me rephrase it
as is said, everybody have their time predefined
n after all this, its better he went for peace coz people never cared about him rather ridiculed him all his life, ignored the truth and believed their own whims and fancies..so its good he’s gone to a far better world..
cheers to your freedom from the sufferings…its no point living for others when you yourself are in such pain..this media did’nt deserved him, as for his fans..hes immortal
At first people were always telling me bad things about Michael. And thats why i didnt like him so much before. But then i realized that those things were just lies.No one should say awful things about other people without knowing the truth. He was a great person.I think that no one will ever be able to replace him.I got really sad when i heard about his death.I couldnt believe it.I love him and ill always will.Im always going to be one of his fans.Rest in peace,Michael. We’ll never forget you.
Love you and miss you – Love from Denmark
Your music and dance will live forever!
I agree with u natania. It’s sad that he has gone for good. What a cruel world we live in, now I realise how innocent he was and how much pain he had to endure. But at least this is the end for his suffering and while we are still here, let us pray for him and may Allah bless him.
You rock my world, 4ever!
Love from Malaysia
he will live forever in my heart and i have been o sad these days, constantly crying…but I really wanna find the sense in this life and what it gives us and truly wanna believe that whatever happens IT IS THE BEST FOR US-so he is ona better place where is no pain, sadness or false accusations and loneliness…I wanna think that this is better for him…and its the only way I can find comfort…
With regards to bleaching skin because of vitiligo, vitiligo is not a condition by where the entire skin becomes evenly white, or evenly looses pigment. My uncle had this illness. Sometimes people take medication to help the depigmentation become more even. Michael is in a better place, where he will have his hearts desire, and will be given unconditional love and respect our Lord, however one may want to name God. I think his brother Germain said he is with Allah now. I hope all the opportunistic crumbs who used Michael will receive their just rewards when they stand before God.
rip michael
I actually saw a girl who had this disease and she had (and still has) huge white blotches all over her skin… He face was like half white and half black.. it did look different… there were huge spots of white all over her face and arms, her skin looked bleached definitely but she is from a low-income family so they never did anything about it. From seeing her, now I know that the disease is real and I’ve always known that MJ didn’t dye his skin… thats ridiculous who ever created that rumor… and I just feel so bad for him, I just wanna give him a huge hug and tell him that I believe in anything he says and that I will stand by him forever.. and under all of that stress from such a young age, the poor baby!!! I really wish right now I could give him a huge hug and touch his skin and say that it doesn’t matter. Poor man went through so much abuse… Anyways I love you Michael and hopefully you are in a better place with love and acceptance
I know someone who had this illness, and half his face looked normal and tan (hispanic) and the other half of his face/down his neck and arms are these huge white splotches. I feel bad because it’s the first thing people see when someone has this an they stare like crazy.
When someone with vitillago reaches more than 50 percent depigmentation on their body, doctors commonly urge exactly what Michael Jackson had done: depigmentation by use of a drug therapy called monobenzylether of hydroquinone. It’s *not* the same thing as bleaching, not at all. This is a serious drug for a medical condition. The natural color in the skin will neve return. Depigmented skin is also crazy-sensitive to serious sunburning. For real, I’ve seen this firsthand. I feel badly for MJ, this condition is no joke.
When i was growing up, Michael Jackson was going through all the trials in court. I was so young and people were saying things, that i thought were true. Although, when i got older my dad still loved Michael Jackson. He made me go to this tribute years ago and it changed everything. In a way, Michael Jackson has taught me not to believe everything you hear and to have your own mind. I just wish i was alive when he was at his greatest. We all love you Michael, rest in peace. xo
I defended Michael for years…alot of people didn’t believe Michael Vitiligo and kept saying he didn’t want to be a black man and bleached his skin white! That is an insult, i had to go through the exact same thing as Michael! My skin turned white around my late teens, it leaves white blotches everywhere and then it starts to spread all around your body. I had a hard time and god only knows what poor Michael had to go through dealing with this disease in the spotlight and having people or the media bashing him over it!
you are totally right! people insulting Michael are insulting anyone with vitiligo!
I just wanted to say 2 things.
First, excellent pictures and of both the vitiligo and lupus-butterfly rash on the face for MJ. How strong he must have been to bear these, both of which indicate poor immune system health and function. Very very difficult to be strong physically and emotionally every day and then to be judged and accused of a billion things—persecuted.
Secondly, I see this finger pointing go on daily about MJ that his life was sad, and tragic in many ways, but face facts people, who amongst you has a perfect life—who is perfect? Human life is full of suffering and God’s grace. That is MJ and his forever quality, God’s grace and riches in his heart. Strength to bear it all and victorious over such hurdles that you and I would easily apply for disability and welfare in NYS!
I make my point clear.
i just can’t figure out WHY would someone want to hurt an entertainer, an ambasador of his country! people like that bashir, people from media etc … even now after his death! WHAT governs them! WHO is responsible for all this! and all THIS comes from USA only! … and that’s why it would be JUST = the us congres proclaims MJ LEGEND, and the BLESSED ONE! MJJ, the world loves you!
I am so sad.
I can relate having had lupus for 12 yrs it is hard to live let alone live a normal life. this poem helps me.
“MISS ME BUT LET ME GO”
WHEN I COME TO THE END OF MY ROAD AND THE SUN HAS SET FOR ME
I WANT NO RITES IN A GLOOM FILLED ROOM. WHY CRY FOR A SOUL SET FREE.
MISS ME A LITTLE BUT NOT TO LONG AND NOT WITH YOUR HEAD BOWED LOW.
REMEMBER THE LOVE WE ONCE SHARED.
“MISS ME BUT LET ME GO”
FOR THIS IS A JOURNEY WE ALL MUST TAKE. EACH MUST GO ALONE. FOR ITS ALL
PART OF OUR MASTERS PLAN. A STEP ON THE ROAD HOME.
WHEN YOU ARE LONELY AND SICK AT HEART GO TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS WE KNOW
AND BURY YOUR SORROWS IN DOING GOOD DEEDS.
“MISS ME BUT LET ME GO”
I always knew MJ had vitligo and lupus! A lupie always recognizes another lupie!! I always defended him, there is no way a person can change their color of skin just because they dont like it! Drs arent stupid! there had to be a medical explanation! the point here is that MJ was a celebrity, but if one of us did it, well no one would actually care! Another thing, when having Lupus, if its SLE, you should always always always stay away from the sun! it explains the umbrella; the medical mask he wore at times, well, news flash for the media! it wasnt cause he wanted to establish a new fashion trend! it was probably cause he was taking immunosuppressants. But MJ, at last, you suffer no more! you will always be alive and remembered in our hearts! we love you tremendously!
**I myself have lupus! and its a roller coaster ride!
[[MJ REST IN PEACE]]
REST IN PEACE,MICHAEL!
Thanks for your extraordinary talent & kind heart!
God Bless You!
lupus or vitiligo? why your image not showing up? anyway.. good website..
I just saw this on another site:
Written by: David Nordahl (MJ’s personal artist): People accused Michael of trying to be white, which is ridiculous. When I first met him, his vitiligo had gone to the right side of his face and down his neck. Most of his hand was white. Stark white patches. He used makeup because he had to. Without it, he was speckled all over. (Nordahl never witnessed drug use by MJ but was keenly aware of pain problems that lingered after the star’s hair caught fire on a Pepsi ad soundstage.) When they were trying to repair that burned spot, he had a balloon under his scalp that was inflated. He let me feel it. It was a huge mound. As the skin got stretched, they cut it out and stitched the scalp. He was in excruciating pain. ( Jackson seemed an unlikely addict , Nordahl says, noting his avoidance of cigarettes, alcohol, softdrinks and sugar.) He was mostly vegetarian. (About MJ as Dad) Michael was a real dad, not a Hollywood dad. He’d get up at night to feed them bottles. He’d change them, bathe them, everything a mother does. Those kids were so respectful and courteous, just sweet.
I saw this about a guy with vitiligo see:

poor poor michael, having that awfl vitiligo thing must be horrible!
