I’ve learned a lot of new skills since I last posted in any journal. So far (although they need a little more perfecting)
Floor
Handstand
Cartwheel
Front tuck
Beam
High jump (knees bent)
Turn (both feet)
Full turn (on the low beam, too scared and not ready yet for the REAL beam)
Bars
Back roll
Another move that I don’t know the name of, lol.
Stretching/conditioning for splits is a pain…literally. But I’ve got to let that go, because I really need to learn how. I still can’t do a back bend or a bridge
Its so hard, something about my hands…they keep slipping, and it really hurts me because I’m the only one in my class that has this problem. Its especially frustrating, because a back handspring is my absolute favorite move ever since I say Kimberly the Pink Power Ranger do it in the opening credits/first episode, and no way can I do it without a solid bridge/back bend.
My gym doesn’t allow cameras (unless its competition for the team) or anything like that, so I can’t post any pictures or videos.
