Re: Are Americans afraid to like their president?

It seems I was on the right track.

Yesterday news outlets reported that Al-Qaeda #2 Ayman al-Zawahri insulted president elect Barack Obama by referring to him as a ‘house negro’. (It is important to note that Obama is not in fact, a decendent of slaves, so that insult wouldn’t make any sense anyway, but it is still offensive on what he is implying). He attempts to quote Malcolm X, but by doing so he doesn’t understand the background knowledge of what is behind the statement, and is also ignoring brother Malcolm’s revised his point of view regarding race relations after returning from the Hajj.

America elected Barack Hussein Obama as its 44th President of the United States, someone who was born and grew up part of his childhood in Hawaii to his parents; a Kenyan father and a white mother from Kansas. He moved to Indonesia for the rest of his childhood, has a half-Indonesian sister (moved back to the states to Illinois and later became senator). And although he never practiced Islam, he has a better understanding of Muslims than Bush could ever muster. He has gained extreme international likability during his campaign trail and rejoice around the world Election Day when he was elected.

Muslims (non radical) were enthusiastic about this win. This man is obviously a hard sell for Al Qaeda #2 to recruit new members and make them believe that the western world/America is the oppressor.  In a desperate attempt to diminish Obama’s elect significance, he resorts to saying he won’t do anything different because he is a house negro/obey to his ‘master’ (i.e. white people). He seems to forget that Obama is also a biracial American, with a white mother.

Face it, his multicultural background is an obstacle that cannot be overcomed, and he is obviously far superior in intelligence than our previous president. He knows that the terrorists are not in Iraq (a war that damaged America’s image greatly and was used to show evidence of the USA and President Bush’s lack of reason) and he’s going to Afghanistan where they are and coming for those caves they’re hiding at, and they’re scared.

Its also been noted that they were predicting that John McCain would win the presidency (another Republican who, recently aligned his belief with the current president post-2000, with a embarrassing inadequate vice president who doesn’t know basic American laws).

Barack Obama is our 44th President of the United States of America.

So that’s White House Negro to you.
