ffs, stop sending me the hoax Jordan Chandler article
I already touched on this briefly, but it seems that it needs to be said again in its own entry.
Jordan Chandler has not come to the press and confessed anything. Stop sending me emails to post this. I don’t know who’s bright idea was it to fabricate such an article, and I pray that someone didn’t get any ideas because I posted the entry about the case from Wikipedia in 2007 (which much of it was copied from).
First of all, the article is about wrong in 11 different ways than it is right. Its poorly written, the grammar is horrible, and there’s no source. I’ve seen several different versions of this ‘article’ around the internet, that now contain old pictures [circa 2005] from my blog that no one else has but me. So I know whoever it was, had to have visited here at some point recently, in order to include them. I don’t think its too far fetched to conclude that its probably by an extremely dedicated MJ fan who is so pressed for people to see that he is innocent that they decided it would be a good idea to make up a confession. Gee, thanks a lot. Just what I need.
The writer mixed up the son and father’s names; Evan Chandler is the father, not the accuser. Major fail there. The ‘quotes’ from the ‘interview’ was probably the best part, though. Wake up, its 2009, not 1993. Jordan is almost 30 years old, and the quotes sound like he’s still 13 years old. A run on sentence? “Sorry I lied my dad made me do it”? Really, this is pathetic. Like I said, he will speak about it on his own time, if he ever chooses to do so (which I doubt, but that’s not the point). Making up quotes or confessions is illegal and unlawful. I’m not just saying this for shits and giggles.
Lastly, and most importantly:
Please stop bashing Jordan in the comments.
I give up replying to them all. I really have. I wish I could, but just too many people visiting at this point. If any more crazy MJ fans come here and spew hatred about an innocent person who couldn’t help what has happened to himself, the entry will be closed to comments, PERIOD. It’s not cute. He should not be held responsible; do not write shit like “he should go to hell” or whatever nonsense I’ve been skimming through. He was taken advantage of. He is also the victim in this tragedy.
He was (and still remains to be) abused, but not by Jackson, contrary to popular belief, but his own father. And unfortunately, it happens at an innocent man’s expense.
I read that and I did more research to find out it was a hoax. Also I read a GQ article about how jackson was framed and its a shame. There are many ignorant people out there, who takes the medias word and do not do there own research.
And you are so certain your views are now completely correct because:

Well said. I was the first to jump on the “STFU ABOUT JORDAN CHANDLER” bus when the rumour started. Was up until 7 am sending messages to every single person on Twitter who talked about the story. It’s died down but there are still some idiots who believe things without looking for proof.

Okay, no one is bashing Jordan….however….like I said then, I will say again now….MJ was not convicted….and NO AMOUNT of $$$$$$$$ in the world would make myself….if I was a parent with an allegedly victimized child agree to any amount of money to avoid prosecution of anyone whom supposedly victimized my child.

I just found your blog tonight while trying to also do independent research to the “recant” of Chandler and had to print out and read the previous entry about the possibility of Michael Jackson being framed. I too wonder WHY the media isn’t so worried about potentially CLEARING Michael Jackson’s name – but it comes down to ratings and having to admit that possibly the media made a mistake and in some way(s) MAY also too share in the responsibility of Mr. Jackson’s death. Specifically TRASH like Diane Diamond and Nancy Grace who seem to love to live in whatever drama and gossip they can get their grubby little fingertips on!
I not NOT a die-hard fan … I have NOT followed Mr. Jackson’s career. I can’t even name all his albums or songs, even though I’ve downloaded a bunch in recent days and have the Thriller & Bad Albums at my Mom’s house … yet I have not been able to stop crying over his passing.
I just wanted to thank you for your insight and ‘reporting’… I wish that main-stream media would spotlight the positive and stop bringing up questionable past issues. Especially in light of the evidence on the accuser(s).
There is MORE trash surfacing (as I knew it would) from people that are claiming to be close to Mr. Jackson while he was alive. I wish the media would pose the question.. “well, if your story is viable, then why have you remained silent until now?” It seems that the media will publish ANY dirt they can manufacture so long as it sells the media.

I am very disillusioned with the media after the last few days. It’s obvious it is only about $$$. Most of what is printed is unreliable it seems. Anyone can make up anything and it goes forward with no second checks.
I don’t know who one earth would go to such lengths to make up a fake confession by Jordan Chandler, it really only makes things worse not better all round. It gives fans false hope at a time they are grieving. And does nothing for credibility.

At http://independent.co.uk/news/ they’ve checked it out, I guess with whoever represents Jordan Chandler, and say that he’s made no statement. I think it’s highly unlikely he ever will.
This story started on a site which purports to be an ‘off-topic’ news site but is highly questionable. Someone said it has some articles supposedly going back to 2008 but the domain was only registered the day MJ died. Most of the articles are MJ related and sensational to say the least, contain links to fan sites, etc. I’m sick of looking at it because of the graphic ads which pop up.

Honestly, I DO believe Jordan Chandler was, and did, lie about being molested by Michaeld Jackson when he was younger. **BUT** I do not blame him however, nor do I consider him the ‘bad guy’. He was a minor back then. He was, indeed, following and obeying the instructions of his parents. If, indeed, the whole Michael Jackson being accused of terrible things was a ‘lie’…Jordan Chandler will be a HERO if he was to come forward and tell the truth. He was a minor back then…and the state limitation is passed as well. He would NOT be in any trouble if he came forward.
Vindicating a persons name is at stake…I can only hope and pray that Mr. Chandler steps up and does the right thing if these ‘rumors’ are ture.
Perhaps you could include this link abt the 2005 charges the son brought against the father? Linking to the Smoking Gun info about the court case might help also. Some people just don’t have the intelligence needed to do their own research and will fall for anything.

Jordan was just as much a victim in this as Michael was. Jordan’s own father basically pimped him out to score a huge payday from a rich celeb that was viewed as ‘weird’. Sure, Jordan could come forward now and admit that his father was the big scammer we all know he is, but really, what good would it do? For all we know, Jordan doesn’t even have anything to do with his father; we don’t know the state of their relationship today. I’d be willing to bet, though, that this wasn’t the first time that Evan Chandler used his son for financial gain. Karma will not be pretty for Mr. Chandler.
Oh, I wish it was true that the boy had confessed. But yeah, he should. I read some place else the the boy’s description of the genitals did not match the pictures which is why 2 grand juries refused to prosecute. Oh well, I should be satisfied that the Jordan’s father, Evan hit him with a dumbbell and sprayed him with pepper spray. And now I read they sued each other a while back. Oh well.
I’m sorry you guys, but Jordan is a grown man now. If he knows the truth, he should step up to the plate and clear his or Michael Jackson name. He’s not a little kid anymore. I was one of those people who defended MJ in 93 but I couldn’t do it in 2003. “Another kid, Michael!” I was just like Chris Rock. I heard the stories of Jesus Juice, porn, secret rooms, “it’s okay to share a bed” and bought it hook, line and sinker. However, with his death two weeks ago, I decided to look up why the jury acquitted him on all charges. I was shocked there was so much that I didn’t know about the case.
Anyway, I’ve been discussing this on another board. Trying to provide facts and links to said facts about the case and couldn’t believe some people were so adamant that he did it. I mean, they didn’t read any of the links I posted at all. They continue to ramble on about Jesus Juice and porn. They could not fathom some people will do anything for money including accusing someone of a crime as heinous as child molestation. Since they couldn’t disprove anything, I said they dismissed me a MJ stan. Unreal. Have you gone through that?

You have to understand the the penalty for lying under oath is quite severe. If he initially lied to get money he will most certainly lie to keep from being sent to jail for perjury.

I have just emailed channel 4 UK who is showing a programme about MJ and the last months of his life 0n 12/7/09.
After the last documentary Jacques Perreti did on him which was one sided I asked them was it going to be a balanced programme or diabolical like their last offering. I am not holding out much hope of get a reply or it being posted on channel 4 website.

As for all the loons that keep commenting utter rubbish… when MJ actually died I did the smart thing and acknowledged that the world lost one of it’s most legendary entertainers, we’ve lost an icon the size of Elvis or Marilyn so it’s fair enough that the world is divided.
People are allowed to think what they want, but they should also think before they speak (or type). No matter what MJ may or may not have done, you did not know, nor did I, nor did anyone else except the people that were genuinely closest to him. He didn’t even know the names of the majority of the staff around him, and they probably ONLY knew his name. My personal belief is that although celebland is very forgiving when it comes to crime, I highly doubt they would have enabled a paedophile for 16 years through two separate allegations if it was convinced that he did commit these acts. As I said, I know crime concerns celebrities alot less than the average Joe, but paedophilia and murder are a different level to the usual drug busts, DUIs and even manslaughter cases. But that’s my belief.
I think it’s disgusting for people to tarnish a name he was defending for a decade and a half upon his death when he did fully weather the storm of those two trials. My conclusion on these is that both were settled, so whether or not MJ did actually do anything… where the heck were the parents of these “victims”? If your child was abused, would 22 million REALLY soften the blow? Not for me because when I have a child, their best years will most definitely not be for sale. So if you’re going to say disgusting things, you should really be talking about all parties involved – parents, Neverland staff, MJ… or just not at all because like I said at the start… you don’t know.
As for the MJ fans eagerly protesting innocence, in all honesty this website has converted me (I think) as the 2007 article which is linked completely eliminates my doubts about these allegations, combined with the News of the World video… MJ said something very smart in 1996 on this newly “leaked” video. Although many have said this video makes him look guilty, and I’m sure this is what NotW intended, I think he looks like a nervous, troubled little boy in a strange mans body. Like he’s thinking, are they really asking me this again? But anyway… thats hearsay and my opinion. The reason I am convinced is because this fake article has proven one of MJ’s own quotes – ‘If people hear a lie long enough, people believe it. People have lied on me.’
You hear MJ is a paedophile in 1993, then in 2005 another case happens to arise. Why? Easy target, the world knows paedophiles are serial offenders, but any teenager knows the rules… one rumour is just that, a rumour… two rumours is gospel. (I don’t wish to offend anyone who’s hearts go out to the 2005 “victim”, but you see my point?). What if he genuinely was never a paedophile in the first place. To the most dedicated fans though, all I would say… is don’t close your mind when you don’t know the facts.
I think MJ is too big a legend for the furore around his death to die down without some real conclusion on these allegations, so let’s just hope and pray. And my heart goes out to Jordan Chandler who (if he was molested) was essentially pimped out before he reached puberty and has had a not-so-fun time with his abusive father since, as well has having to escape the media furore surrounding the 2005 allegations… leave him be, MJ is dead, no matter what has been said or done, it’s over… why should anyone have to relive it?

This story is much more believable to me what is being quoted in the media from so-called friends and insiders. I do not believe the truth about Michael Jackson would be broacasted by mainstream media, why would it? People have made their careers off prepetuating the lie that he was a pedophile. I think it’s naïve to outright dismiss Jordan confessing. If anyone knows anything about “karma” the hell he is probably enduring via his conscious (because mind you he is a grown man now) is 10x worse than the jail cell.
Jordan Chandler, will not come forward yet. He might come forward in time, possibly on his deathbed, but not before. I don’t why, only he and is father know the truth and why he will not speak out.
