OPEN LETTER TO A MICHAEL JACKSON ACCUSER (THE ARVIZO FAMILY): Subpoenaed by the defense in 2005, Azja Pryor writes to Jackson’s 2nd accuser
*Dear Gavin, Star, Davellin, and Janet:
After Michael’s tragic death last week, I have to say that all the negative feelings I’ve had towards your family following the outrageous claims made by you Gavin and your mother Janet–against Michael–came back to me tenfold. The pain, disappointment, anger, and betrayal I feel towards you simply cannot be put into words.
You have shown me that your greed, lies, and personal gain override any “morals” your family claims to have; and you have proven yourselves to be the kind of people capable of turning your back on the very person who came to your rescue when you were most desperate.
The fact that you falsely accused Michael of the most heinous of acts, and made his life a living hell in what would become his last years is unthinkable; and I am sure some would say, unforgivable. In your attempts to destroy him once again, you, Gavin, accused the man you called your “best friend” of the one thing that you (and everyone else) knew would completely turn his life inside out.
You took the one thing we all know that Michael cared about most in life–children, especially children who are suffering, and you tried to turn it into a bad thing. You Janet, as a parent, allowed this, encouraged this, and went forward with the awful lies in an attempt to destroy Michael Jackson and swindle money from him.
Shame on you!
This man did nothing but help your family in their darkest hour. I know Michael was just like my family. We were all pulled into your woeful stories and shared your family’s plight as Gavin fought for his life during his battle with cancer. Gavin, you told me that Michael’s love helped cure you of cancer.
Your entire family praised Michael privately to everyone who would listen, yet turned against him so viciously in public. I have remained silent for many years, but I can no longer do so. Right now I struggle to find the words to adequately write this letter, as I am so filled with anger towards you and pain for the Jackson family.
You call yourself Christians. If this is true I call on you, Gavin, and your mother Janet to finally do the right thing for Michael in death that you never did during his days here on earth. You need to completely exonerate Michael’s name and legacy from the awful, disgusting claims you made against him.
Claims and allegations that you and I both know are completely false and utterly ridiculous. Whatever your motives at the time to create such accusations are now minute and unimportant.
It is much bigger than you.
We are speaking on this man’s legacy; a man who positively touched lives around the world. A man who is arguably the greatest entertainer the world will ever know. Michael is someone who shared in your family’s pain; opened his home to you and included you in his very own family. He was a human being who never deserved any of this.
Gavin and Janet, you can change your identity and try to hide from the public scrutiny, but ultimately, you cannot hide from the wrath of God’s judgment. This is the right thing to do. It is the very least you can do for Michael, his children, and his legacy.
Gavin you are now 19 years old, no longer an impressionable young boy under you mother’s guidance, nor are you a pawn in this grand scheme to assassinate Michael’s character. I know your heart, and I know that you are capable of doing what is right. Clear Michael’s name of your ugly accusations once and for all. You owe it to him. You owe it to his family. And you owe it to God. Let’s finally give Michael the ability to completely rest in peace.

I especially like this segment that she writes:

Thank you for these words. I’ve told many people the truth would begin to seep out because those people who brought Michael pain falsely should at this moment be experiencing inter turmoil, conviction and guilt. There is NO way they to run or hide from their conscience. As karma is a monster. They took something beautiful and the kindness of God’s child and mangled it in the worst possible way. The laws of the universe are at work at this moment. They would do best to make this right and tell the truth to exonerate our brother and allow his children and family some peace.
I said these exact words to my husband on the day of Michael’s funeral, “If Michael is innocent,I hope that the ones that falsely accused Michael would come forward(now that he is dead & gone(may he rest in peace) & now that they are old enough to dispute the claims that their parents had them make) & do the right thing.”Now that you are grown young men,MAN UP & TAKE RESPOSIBILITY FOR YOUR OWN ACTIONS,(or may have been co-erced into by your parent/s)CLEAR Michael’s name & exonerate him of all charges (post-humously) Remember the 10 commandments like “thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbor”)in other words do not lie & falsely charge someone!!! Geraldo (whom i like and think was fair to MJ when it came to interviews) pointed out the hypocrisy of many celebs who now wanted to come out of the wood work after his death to claim their friendship and tight union to Michael when he was alive, when we all know damn well no one was there for him and everyone alienated him after teh aquittal in 2005.
The same celeb crying crocodile tears after his death like they ever gave a shyt when he was alive.

Thank you for this heartfelt letter. I agree with everything you said and deeply wish the same.
However, I have come to the conclusion that even if the entire Garvizo family, June, Jordan and Evan Chandler all came forward to retract their claims and proclaim Michael innocent, that the majority of the U.S. population still wouldn’t believe it. I have argued against statements made against Michael, and even being presented with court document proof, they still hold to their ignorant beliefs.
Tabloid press should be shut down and mainstream journalists should be held accountable for their stories and statements. It’s a sad world we live in and Michael’s fight for acceptance and love of all people seems to be a lost cause. He stated that time was running out and we need to change our ways starting right now. He was right, but I despair of it ever happening.
Our morals have been flushed down the drain. We seem to be fighting against a tsunami of hate.
I for one intend to try to change that in every way I can.
I think it’s an understatement to say “tabloid” anything at this point because mainstream media is nothing but skewed entertainment at this point. It goes way beyond the Enquirer, The Sun, etc. and what’s ironic is that The Enquirer has been known to break a few true stories as of late. It’s what you hear on CNN that you have to question these days.
I can’t forgive the Arvizos until they publicly apologize. Unfortunately they probably never will. Cowards.

EVAN CHANDLER crippled Michael, and JANET/GAVIN ARVIZO FINISHED HIM OFF. His spirit was completely broken, he was unable to recouperate after that hideous trial. I’m certain he turned to drugs as a way to numb his pain, numb his mind. I am speaking from experience, I am not casting any judgement toward him – I completely understand what he was doing. I look back on the last 10 – 15 years of his life and I feel physically sick – I was never a super fan, I don’t even think I owned one of his albums, BUT, I thouroughly appreciated his talents and gifts when I would see him on TV or hear him on the radio. I have been moved tremendously to seek the TRUTH about the molestation rumors, and everything EVERYTHING points to INNOCENT. The Chandler/Arviza creatures were after money – PERIOD. Nothing else. They knew he had it in abundance, and they wanted it. I pray that Janet Arvizo is in a living hell right now – she is a grifter with a black soul. And Evan Chandler – I wish for him to receive the Karma he so greatly deserves. Disgusting people – the lowest forms of life on this earth.

Hi SoCalGal: Thanks for providing these links. To get more perspective on what Michael suffered, people should google: McMartin Preschool Trial. This was perhaps the biggest child molestation trial ever where it wasn’t just one kid making the accusation but several. At the time, common sense took a back seat to sensationalism. You could see how these forces came together initially to protect the children but soon devolved into furthering people’s careers,selling newspapers and getting tv ratings and the kids and the defendants were reduced to mere pawns. IIRC, the children were making these outlandish claims of flying witches, travelling in hot air balloon, orgies at carwashes and airports, animal sacrifices, tunnel underneath the school and yet none of the adults said, “Wait a minute… this could NOT be true! They didn’t question the mental state of the parent who first made the allegations even when it was clear that she had a problem because people can’t fly (you know like a bird!) Instead, they paraded themselves on tv everyday, gave interviews to anyone who asked, levelled the school, dug up the land on which the school sat looking for the tunnel and animal bones and found nothing. Not wanting to look like complete idiots, they started using the “suggestibility” tactic in interviewing the kids…”Did so and so touch you here?” (pointing to the genetalia of a doll). Invariably, the kid would nod “yes”and this became the “evidence”. All this time members of the McMartin family sat in jail awaiting trial which took years and in the end were acquitted due to lack of evidence. In a Los Angeles Times Magazine article dated 10/30/05, one of the kids from that preschool, Kyle Zirpolo, later confessed that he lied. (There might have been others but I only remember him because I had read the article in ‘05 and wondered how come I wasn’t hearing or seeing it anywhere else.) Wikipedia presents the case fairly and has a link to Kyle’s LA Times confession. It took him about 21 years but thank goodness he did…eventually. I have heard too many of these “made-up”allegations and I hate to say this but kids DO LIE! I hope you post the links all over the place because we all need to be educated as to how these things can happen to good people. For the record, I’m not naive to think that there aren’t children being molested but just want to show the other side of the coin. Thanks again.
Although it is good that someone who is influential like a celebrity speak up for the truth, but rallying around after he’s dead is an act with is already too late. Why those people who knows him better never give him the support he needed most, esentially to speak the truth? Why at the time of the trial, using the power they have in the media, convey the truth and slam those dirty tabloids news? Hypocrite, especially to those who claimed to be their friend at the memorial service. What has happen to humanity? I feel Michael wouldn’t went all those drugs if Jordan, Jason and Gavin would’ve been up front and told the truth. That’s how I feel and he would’ve been still alive today on that This Is It tour but no. Let’s remember one thing, here. Both Jordan Chandler and Gavin Arvizo and his brother and sister were children when the accusations were made. Yes, they were old enough to know better, but how many 13 to 15 year olds can withstand the pressure of parents and other adults and stand alone just to tell the truth? Also, recall that Jordan Chandler was under the influence of a powerful drug administered by his father that actually could have changed his real memories.
Let’s place the blame where it belongs: on all the adults involved in these accusations. All we can pray for is that Gavin and Star and Davelin will eventually come forward and recant their statements. Jordan, I am afraid, is a lost cause. His mind was altered by a drug and at this late date would not risk losing his money, even if he did remember.
I personally do not care if he kept the money, so long as he told the truth. Actually, he sort of deserves it for what his father put him through.
Azja Pryor is a beautiful person and I’m so glad she wrote this! With all my heart I hope that the Arvizo’s and Chandler’s come and clear his name. And if they don’t come forward some one should privately tape them or something :/
Unless an angel from the Lord moves upon them, these liars will get away with the slow murder they committed against MJ. The trial killed him and that’s the bottom line. The only reason I think he held on as long as he did was because of kids. The cancers in New Jersey (the Chandlers) and the Arvizos are disgusting people.

Floacist- Thank for your site. It is great to be able to feel the community of people out there who want justice for Michael. Would you please visit the site “vindication better than tributes”. It is a panel of like minded people who are trying to get vindication for Michael through the media. It is a peaceful, but purpose driven group of amazing individuals and I think you would fit in. Also I think you could really add to the cause because you are obviously an intelligent person who does his research and you support Michael Jackson, the human being, not just the performer.
