About Flo’ology

Where do I start?

Basically, I made this blog for fun to put random stuff in. It also serves as a “firsthand shortcut of information” concerning the singer Michael Jackson. This includes interesting articles, media, essays, etc. from archives on the internet, some of my friends and a few of my own. I found it very helpful to shed lighton various controversial subjects that relate to him (and there are many). I find it a lot easier to have all the information here in just one place that I can direct someone to if someone is curious about something. Its time consuming, but it did give me something to do when I’m bored.

With that out of the way, I didn’t (nor never) intended to make a blog solely on Michael Jackson because:

1) That is boring and not my sole interest. I like many other things. There wouldn’t be anything else for my friends/visitors to lurk on about (regardless of the fact that this is generally a blog for me to write random stuff).

2) That’s just way too much. I know I’m a Stan, but a Stan can only stand Stanning for so long.

I don’t really know what this is. Its just there for me to have I guess.

The name(s) “floacist”, “floetcist”, “flo’ology”, etc. come from the (now separated) female duo group named ‘Floetry‘. The rapper being the ‘Floacist’, the singer is known as ‘the Songstress’ respectively.

You seem to love browsing around the blog though. You’ve just commented several times in a row.

Cause my freak what? Oh, you mean you’re. Grammar sucks. So is your name calling. Tell me you can think of something better than that.

Hey I just saw you on MJNO and you was in the Magic and the Madness thread. I was trying to ask you there but I’ll ask you here: What does the book say about Michael and Lisa Marie Presley?
    I’m just curious!

  7. 2007 December 8

I only read it once, and that was all the way back in 2001. All I remember was a dialog between MJ and Lisa in their bedroom. lol

  8. 2007 December 8

well what did the dialog say between Michael and LMP in the bedroom?

    Hello Floacist,
It has only very recently been brought to my attention of your coming to the defense in a very public way on the truth of Michael Jackson’s past history in dating Black Women. I have seen first hand where you have made the online public aware of my engagement to Michael in the 80’s. When I went public in 2005 in support of Michael, it was with the hopes; the world would finally recieve a first hand glimpse of the real man behind what Sony wanted his public to believe.
My relationship with this man lasted well over 5 years. He was and is a beautiful soul. He loved sincerely and very deeply.
Thank you for being such an incredible and out spoken champion for the truth!

if you’re the real Romonica, it’s wonderful to see you here. I’m Hazel, a big fan of MJ’s, hence why I’m on this site (I can’t say that for everyone *ahem*). If you don’t mind, will you shed some light on Mj the person? And possibly clear the air as far as rumors with MJ go. Thank you so much. Look forward to your reply, take care.

Will the person with IP address 71.130.221.180 (yeah I’m talking to you AND your multiple personalities) please exit stage left and go to hell. Don’t let the door sodomize you on the way OUT!

P.S. Start takin’ your meds again

  11. 2007 December 9

Thank you! I am very happy to let people know whats real truth about MJ, and to stop believing rumors and all that BS like sheep.

Just curious, where did you come across my defense? I have a big mouth so I can’t think of any specific instance. lol

  12. 2007 December 9

Yes, Hazel. I am the real Romonica and thank you kindly for the warm welcome.
Floacist to answer your question, a fan sent me an email with a couple of links to comments you had made in regard to MJ dating black women. It was a heated discussion due to the widely spread story of Michael marrying again. You stood up for the truth and pointed out names of women of color who have been linked to him, myself being one.
It took a few minutes to find you, but I was determined to say thank you-to you personally!
I did read some of the comments and they were cruel and unfair to Michael. You stood your ground!
Thank you all for being such devoted and loving fans to Michael Jackson.
He is truly the Greatest Man I have ever known in my lifetime.

    Happy Holidays!

THANK YOU! I always thought that the PR people and his agents/recording companies, etc., were putting out information that wasn’t real. There is no way a man with Michael’s heart would not date, or fall in love or have no relationships at all. Just like they tried to keep Britney Spears a virginal angel.

I may not have known Michael, but I always felt a very deep connection to him, not just as a fan, but as a soul. I know the things he felt. I’ve felt them, too, all my life. I am just torn up by his death and the things that have happened to him.

      Ms. Harris:

I am writing a two books on Michael. I am also a Michael Jackson expert at http://www.allexperts.com. Help me with my research. Please do not take this the wrong way. But I am not convinced of your relationship with Michael. I pride myself in telling fans the truth about Michael, the good, bad and the ugly. But I present facts about him in a loving and respectful manner. No matter what anyone says about him, he was human and for that I will never stop loving him.

You stated that you were in a relationship with Michael for 5 years. What time period was this? Was the relationship consummated? Why was the engagement hidden? Why didn’t you get married? Why didn’t you speak out during his 1993 allegationsYour response will shed some light on whether Michael was still a virgin before he married Lisa Marie. Many fans, including myself, believed he was still a virgin. But if he wasn’t, I need to set the record straight. Since Michael’s death, fans want to understand him and feel close to him in anyway possible. They just want to know the truth about their beloved Michael, especially when it comes to his relationships.

I also noticed you didn’t come forth and post a response to Michael’s death online anywhere.

I hope to hear from you.
      Take care and God Bless

I LOVE THIS SITE… Re: your Jackson coverage – it was very helpful for me and my work – the way you summarized and used bullet points for all the facts helped me keep track of all the details – SERIOUSLY… transcripts are wordy because people talk to much..like me .. see:
Recently Aphrodite Jones wrote about the devastating trial Jackson had to go through almost two years ago titled; “The Michael Jackson Conspiracy.” She came to Santa Barbara, California USA (where I live) along with Tom Mesereau, Michael’s attorney during the 2005 trial, and spoke about the media conspiracy that was against Jackson. I videotaped the talk and posted it at http://www.youtube.com/girlmanmedia

The book and their talk was extremely interesting and of course 100% factual. I know because I did the legal graphics for Jackson during the trial.

I guess big brother is going to take over the much loved MJJC. lol That ish is going to get annoying, they’re going to want every thread to be closed once someone is will express an opinion that isn’t worship for MJ LOL. Funny, ever since MJJF switched to MJJ Community, the activity went down way low (the wait was too long by the time it was back online) so I guess the MJNO members will bring in some closure.

    Hi there,

Here is the Press Release for Regina King’s new
documentary, Side by Side: The Story of the 50/50
Group of Sierra Leone. Links for viewing are also
    included. Thanks!

    FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
    March 27, 2008

DOCUMENTARY ON SIERRA LEONE’S 50/50 GROUP

WASHINGTON – A documentary, Side by Side: The Story of
the 50/50 Group of Sierra Leone, was screened at the
Pan African Film Festival in Los Angeles, CA, last
month. The documentary profiles the development of the
50/50 Group, founded in 2000 to promote the
participation of women in Sierra Leone’s post-war
    politics.

The 50/50 Group emerged out of the ruins of a
decade-long civil war that resulted in over 50,000
deaths, thousands maimed, and enormous destruction of
property and infrastructure. The group has grown from
a handful of women meeting in borrowed space in the
capital, Freetown, to a nationally recognized
organization actively engaged in building a new
post-war Sierra Leone in which women can share equally
with men in the political decisions that affect their
    lives.

Presented by the National Democratic Institute (NDI),
the documentary is narrated by former U.S. Secretary
of State Madeleine K. Albright, NDI’s chairman, and
recounts the inspirational history and achievements of
a remarkable group of women. With support from NDI,
the 50/50 Group seeks to live up to its name by
ensuring an equal share of power between men and women
    in the country’s traditionally male-dominated
political system. The group was established to change
public perception of women in politics, remove
barriers to women’s political participation, and equip
the next generation of women candidates with the tools
    necessary to achieve electoral success.

Ok. I am trying to figure this out. Why do African Americans support Mexican’s emigrants and their rights? Mexico was known for shipping African people to Mexico and using Africans as slaves, long before the United States.
Quoted from http://www.smithsonianeducation.org/migrations/legacy/almleg.html “In the sixteenth century, New Spain–as Mexico was then called–probably had more enslaved Africans than any other colony in the Western Hemisphere”
Affirmative attention was created for African American people only! No other, not white people (like myself) or Hispanics. Quoted in Wikipedia “Affirmative action in the US began as a tool to address the persisting inequalities for African Americans in the 1960s. This specific term was first used to describe US government policy in 1961. Directed to all government-contracting agencies, President Kennedy’s Executive Order 10925 mandated “affirmative action to ensure that applicants are employed and those employees are treated during employment, without regard to their race, creed, color, or national origin.” Why did Obama’s pick a Latina for a Supreme Court judge, why not a black woman?
Again, Affirmative Action was meant for African American’s people. Rightfully so, after all African American people fought so hard to achieve. Why do Latin emigrants get more out of affirmative action, then whom this law was intended for? Just look up the ratio between of unemployment opposed to African Americans. Quote “Unemployment for Black Citizens Higher than Hispanics” in Arkansas. The look at this site and figure out the ratio for each state http://quickfacts.census.gov/qfd/index.html
Some may think I am being racist. However, I think I am being fair, like Switzerland.

Flo, on TMZ the article that is entitled “Jacksons Doctor – Strange Signs”
there is a comment No 99 on page 7 that I don’t know if it is at all correct or made up but this is what is says:

Comments: 99. “I stayed at Neverland when I was a child. Let me just say, it was a beautiful place. Michael Jackson was the most fun, loving kind man to all us children. We slept everywhere but there was never anything sexual.
But Michael did have women he did sleep with and we kids hated them!
Michael got home from rehearsal at 1:00 AM .
At 4:00 AM he has Dr. Murray put him under because he just can’t sleep.
Michael was getting off the downers because he couldn’t dance with them in his system.
He used Deprovan to kick without the withdrawal symptoms. He always did that. He wanted to be great on stage and for that, he had to be clean.
Dr. Murray did not monitor him.
Dear Michael passed away around 6:00 AM
Dr. Murray calls 911 6 hours later-leaves the IV in so he can tell them Michael committed suicide.
That is what Dr. Murray is telling his closest friends.
Dr. Murray killed MJ and let him lay there dead for 6 hours.
I hope Dr. Murray is held accountable…big-time.”

    Hi there,

I’ve been looking and looking for an email address to reach you at directly since I’m not a huge fan of leaving personal comments in public, but it seems that you (understandably) don’t have a point of contact here.

I just want to thank you for everything you’ve done over the past couple of years to get the word out about MJ in ways that the mainstream (or any-stream) media have consistently avoided. I can’t tell you how many times I’ve used a link to a post on your site to help shed a truthful light on various aspects of his life while embroiled in a heated discussion with a friend or coworker.

I am a blogger, but on my blog and in life I have always done my best to avoid the subject when it comes to MJ — not because I don’t want to talk about him, but because it’s just too damn hard to have the same old arguments over and over again. I’ve never been able to connect well with other MJ fans (for many of the same reasons you’ve gone into here — much of which can only be described as ignorance at best and racism at worst), though that seems to be changing now that other people like me are coming out of the woodwork.

I regret that I was not more vocal about what I believed when MJ was alive — yes, I always defended him (loudly!) when put in a position of having to respond to crazy rumors, but nothing like what you’ve done here. It’s just wonderful, all of this. I have so much respect for you. Thank you so much.

    Keep on keeping on.

I like Dolly Pardon and I think she is a real person.. I stumble on her tribute to Michael Jackson and I thought this was very sweet and sincere.

Hi Flo! Found your blog just a couple of days ago! It’s marvellous! But I see that some of the posts need password. Could you please share it? Frankly speaking, perhaps i’m so curious but wanted to read transcripts of MJ’s calls. Besides wantetd to tell that your posts about vitiligo are definitely wonderful , now i have the material just to convince some of my friends who do not belive Michael had this terrible illness. Thank you very very much! Hope to hear from you soon.

PS. sorry for my english) it’s not my mother tongue..

    Regards,

    Irene

Thank you for this site, I really needed to hear some pro-MJ stuff, the crap all over sites like TIME, are so disgusting and manipulative, biased and ignorant, and sometimes that stuff really gets to me, like today. No matter how many negative things i read, or hear about MJ, i’m always surprised by the extent of people’s harshness, and ridicule, it always amazes me that there’s such an extreme of differing opinions on one person, but most of all it always amazes me to the extent of cruelty people are willing to go to for ratings…

It’s things like this that make me question the state of our society and culture, the news article in time mentioned there was no recognizable humanity in MJ because of his eccentric antics, and i scoffed and thought,”where’s the media’s humanity? OH riiiight! they don’t have any sense of compassion or integrity for the truth, they only care about their goddamn ratings!”

What does the media reflect about our society? nothing good.

I have no idea how he handled all of this insanity, I just can’t get over or accept the way he’s been treated, and i’m greatful that there’s at least one other site like this with real facts and figures and proof.

    1. MORNING SUN
The simple piano chords and lush strings that herald the return of Robbie immediately begin the job of wooing back the audience alienated by Rudebox.

Morning Sun starts out as an update of an Elton John ballad before late-period Beatles cellos propel the song forward, and it quickly becomes a full-on Sgt Pepper-style rock out – musically and lyrically – complete with full orchestra and choir. The lyrics were rewritten to pay tribute to Michael Jackson following his death.

A strong opening statement of intent.

Key lyric: “The morning brings the mystery, the evening makes it history, tell me how do you rate the morning sun?”
